On the 6th May the ALBA Synchrotron is organizing an industrial workshop to explain how to use synchrotron light for analysing these materials. The Minister of Business and Knowledge of the Catalan government, Jordi Baiget i Cantons, will be in charge of the opening ceremony. Free registration is open till the 3rd of May.
Calcium can be used as electrode in rechargeable batteries according to a study from Spanish Research Council (CSIC) in collaboration with Toyota Motor Europe (TME) and supported by the measurements performed at the ALBA Synchrotron.
