Scientific Target
What experiments can be performed and what information can be extracted?
- Standard MX, single crystal diffraction experiments at a fixed wavelength for the resolution of structures using molecular replacement or direct methods.
- SAD and MAD experiments on macromolecules in the energy range from 5 to 20 keVs (0.62 - 2.48 Å)
- Small molecule diffraction with a nominal diffraction resolution of 0.85 Å, with the possibility to extend the resolution below 0.5 Å
Beamline Q&A
Sample preparation Q&A
- Are fully prepared samples required: YES
- Can sample material be prepared by ALBA staff and what are the required conditions of these materials: NO
- Are there any specific safety requirements: NO
Availability
Immediately after the evaluation of the proposal and the preparation of the experiment (see Q&A section).
Accessmode
Remote only.
Data format
Data are processed using a default pipeline and can be downloaded using the ISpyB web page. On-site data manual data processing is also possible using the dedicated work stations on the beamline, which are accessible through remote access.
