- Energy conversion & storage
- Molecular and oxide electronics
- Power applications
- Nanostructured biomaterials
- Information technologies
The project aims to attract excellent and talented young researchers in an extensive and dedicated training programme, which includes secondments, workshops, schools and non-research oriented skills. Each fellowship covers living and mobility allowances, PhD tuition fees and research, and training and networking costs. It is a great opportunity to start research projects in Excellent Research Centers in Materials Science in Barcelona.

About DOC-FAM
DOC-FAM is an excellence DOCtoral training programme in Functional Advanced Materials awarded to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the H2020-MSCA-COFUND-2016 Call and coordinated through the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona in collaboration with several partner research institutions from the area, four of them contributing to the co-funding of the programme: the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research, the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute of the National Microelectronics Centre and ALBA Synchrotron. During the 60 months of duration of the programme, two calls will be launched for the recruitment of 22 Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) during 36 months each.
