We cordially invite you to join the 2-day online workshop “Light for Ukraine” (23-24 February, 2023) organized by LEAPS and SOLARIS, in cooperation with The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and dedicated to Ukrainian scientists using photon-based science in their research.
This event will be a platform for discussion, exchanging ideas and experiences with the goal of finding the best solutions for future cooperation. It aims to establish scientific collaboration in research areas that can be supported and strengthened through a LEAPS-Ukraine cooperation.

The program includes presentations of SOLARIS Centre specialists on existing infrastructure as well as presentations from Ukrainian researchers explaining their needs and expectations. The purpose of the workshop is to outline further actions to allow the activities of the Ukrainian research community within LEAPS facilities and to discuss possible ways to develop a Ukrainian beamline in SOLARIS.
Registration is now open and is free of charge. A link to the meeting on the ZOOM platform will be sent to registered participants shortly before the event.
