The ALBA II Symposium will be held in Madrid at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid on January, 18th-19th 2024. The symposium will give you the opportunity to get the newest information about ALBA II, the facility upgrade, and the future facility operation.
To tailor ALBA II for your needs, it is of paramount importance that you provide your suggestions, opinions and feedback at this stage of the project to forge the facility which will fully support your research needs and ultimately covers those of the Spanish community as a whole.
The event is open to the whole community, and is a follow-up of the 1st ALBA II Day, which was an on-line event (https://indico.cells.es/event/464/). The agenda, which is being finalized, foresees a first session with keynote talks on 18th of January afternoon, dedicated to the opportunities that the upgraded ALBA offers in terms of instruments and services. The second session, on 19th of January morning, includes the information on the status of the project, on the possibilities of collaboration and the role of ALBA II in the Spanish Research Area.
