Madrid, 8th March 2018. The Woman's Week Foundation is an open forum to defend and claim the role of women in our society. Coinciding with the celebration of the International Women's Day, they have presented international awards to recognise the work and trajectories of women from different fields.
ALBA Synchrotron was present in the list of awardees through the director Caterina Biscari, chosen Woman Scientist 2018. She has collected the award at the ceremony held at the Italian embassy in Madrid with the other awarded women: Almudena Cid (Sports), Ana Santos Aramburo (Culture), Lourdes Carmona (Solidarity), Marisa Camacho (Business) and Lilian Tintori (International leader).
